About

I am a fresh out of high school young-something, with a passion for doing nothing. I'm not particularly talented at anything, and it doesn't bother me to stay at home or go out. I like to spend hazy summer days next to the pool, and winter nights in bed with a book. I crave the energy that travel brings, but at the same time I lust the quiet and familiarity of home. Film and television constitute a shocking proportion of my life, and in the end I believe that every book is a good book - it just depends on the narrative. I believe fairytales are just stories that haven't ended yet, but that's not to say that I'm a cynical person. Rather, at times I can be brutally realistic, but for the most part I approach life as something with boundless doors for me to open.

My blog is mainly a collection of food and travel, some odd personal opinion pieces and revelations of my day to day life spotted here and there as well.

I shoot with a Nikon D5200, my first DSLR (nicknamed 'Joe') and use a baby 18-105mm lens. Joe is also the origin of most of the images on my blog, but sometimes I'll just use my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 camera. I'm not spectacular at photography, but it's certainly a hobby that I'm keen to develop and work on (bear with me!)
